Daily Inspiration: Meet Lottyhanz Familyties

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lottyhanz Familyties

Hi Lottyhanz, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My pops was a B-boy when he was younger and was also a rapper so Ive been around Hip-hop my entire life for as long as I could remember. I started as a b-boy in my youth years painting graffiti and slowly got into producing beats, DJ’ing and eventually rapping. I was heavily influenced by old school east coast/ bay area rap. Its always been a side hobby of mine until I eventually started taking it serious and publicly releasing music back around 2016.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not. One thing I learned all these years is that the music industry is heavily based around clout and absolutely nobody cares about you enough to support you. Money talks.. This is what led me to do everything myself from producing, mixing, mastering, engineering, artwork, and even music videos, distribution and promo. If you want something done right you gotta do it yourself…

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am an artist from Vallejo, CA. What sets me apart from the rest is I dont follow the crowd and have my own sound. I dont care to fit in or be accepted by the rest of the crowd. I am also a one man record label who does everything myself from, producing, mixing, mastering, engineering, artwork, and even music videos, distribution and promo to produce good quality music for my listeners.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
My name Lottyhanz comes from a mix of both my old football/ MMA nicknames. I was number 42 for my first year of football in high school which at the time I was nicknamed Ronnie Lott. When I started fighting in the cage my first fight I wore gold Muay Thai shorts and was known for my boxing skills in the gym which coined the nickname Goldie Hanz by my coach. Join both nicknames and you get Lottyhanz
