Hi Moses, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.

Moses Slovatizki M.Photog. has been exploring the boundaries of photography as an art form for over 30 years. An expert in the realm of high impact action photography and portrait photography, he’s made a name for himself with evocative portraits and majestic seascape compositions.

I value healthy living, and a positive mindset. As a photographer, I approach each client with kindness and a genuine desire to capture their unique “Best Moments”, ensuring they feel valued, understood with clear communication, excellent references, value and reliability.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

Being a perfectionist as a photographer can drive high standards and motivate continuous improvement. This attention to detail often leads to stunning, high-quality work that reflects a deep commitment to my craft. The desire for perfection encourages myself as a photographer to experiment, refine techniques, and push the creative boundaries. It can result in a strong sense of pride when producing images that meet personal expectations. and nurtures patience and a disciplined approach, fostering growth and skill development. Ultimately, it has helped my work develop a unique style and achieve exceptional results that align with my artistic vision.

Among the many accolades garnered over the years, Moses’ work has been published in Time Magazine, National Geographic’s Adventure, Transworld Surf, Surfing, Surfer, Longboard, Shape, Surfshot, Mundo Rad, Zig Zag and many more.
In 2022 Moses earned his Master of Photography degree and a GIA finalist, platinum Medalist and Member of Team USA World photographic Cup.

Moses continues to focus on his photography from his home in San Diego. His images can be found in spaces around the world from the west coast of California, Europe and Africa, to the sun kissed shores of Hawaii.

Available for all variety of portraits, weddings, commercial & corporate events.
