Daily Inspiration: Meet Nathalie Fratti

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nathalie Fratti.

Nathalie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
“As far back as I can remember, I have always been interested in visual arts. I was born in Lyon, France and as a child, I spent many hours at home drawing and painting.
Upon moving to United States, I discovered I was able to turn my passion of art into a profession.
I became a makeup artist soon after arriving in Los Angeles. This allowed me to utilize my skills I developed as a painter and apply them to the performance arts. I get a true  sense of fulfillment and love when my creators and subjects are happy with their creative visions  and makeup. I get the same sense of satisfaction when people appreciate looking and interpreting my paintings.”
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
“Breaking into the art world has not been an easy road. Over the last two decades, there have been so many changes in how art is created and distributed to its audience. Keeping up with the latest technology has been challenging but rewarding. This has been a large part of my creative growth. I love a good challenge and being a make up artist in the film industry, there is always competition. It is important to always be prepared for each project and give your best.”
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
“I am a true artist at heart and I am also a makeup artist. My work in the film industry has allowed to express my creativity in different ways.  I am proud of what I can deliver and accomplish as an artist.
What set me apart from other artists is that I have my own identity, my own style, my own colors.”
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
“The advice I would give to anyone that is just starting in the creative art would be to stay true to yourself, follow your love and  passion, give it a thousand percent, and more.”
