Today we’d like to introduce you to Rony aka TimeCapsuleCalifornia.
Hi Rony, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Since I was a kid, I’ve been amazed by all the beautiful views and cities California has to offer. Growing up in Los Angeles County, I would always look forward to road trips and vacations around the state. My favorite was San Diego. San Diego has always been special to me because of how much it has to offer. From the beaches and bays to the parks and gardens, there are so many activities to do. I have always told my friends and family that San Diego is the most versatile city they will visit. I remember my first time in San Diego as a kid, walking into the beautiful neighborhood of Old Town and being amazed at how it felt like a whole new world. I also can’t forget heading to the Pepper Grove Children’s Playground with my cousins and spending hours there. I still remember visiting SeaWorld and being so happy to see all the animals and different rides and attractions.
I recently visited San Diego this summer in 2022, and this time around, I was interested in what kind of nightlife the city had to offer, and it did not disappoint.
I loved visiting the neighborhood of Little Italy and trying the Pizza from the Farmers Table restaurant. Fun fact, the waitress that was helping me and my friends was actually from Sicily, Italy, which I thought was amazing. We also had to stop by the very active Gaslamp Quarter, which is known as the heart of San Diego’s nightlife.
All in all, I think San Diego is the most versatile city, and it offers fun to everyone, no matter what age you are. I decided to make @Timecapsulecalifornia to share my experiences in San Diego and in California as a whole. I’ve always loved photography and taking pictures to keep as memories. I hope to inspire others to also share their experiences in California and around the world.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Some struggle I’ve had to face is the funding to explore new places and create content for my page. As a college student, you are sometimes forced to prioritize funding your education, and it can get in the way of making your own business.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I always try to create a personal experience in my photos and make the viewer feel like they are experiencing it with me. I believe that is what sets me apart from others; I try to make the photo more than just a photo. I want to create a visual that inspires others to share their creativity without thinking about judgment from others.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
I would say that luck hasn’t been a big factor in my life and business other than being able to explore and create content as much as I can, which I would consider to be good luck.
