Daily Inspiration: Meet Sara Kincaid

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sara Kincaid.

Sara, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
In 2010, after 10 years of working in Sales and Business Management for national and large-scale tech companies, I exited corporate America to explore opportunities that would better align with my passion. To help keep myself afloat, I took an event catering position to bring in additional funds while pursuing other career opportunities. Little did I know that taking that position would open the door to my passion, events. Through my career in catering, venue operations, and event planning, I discovered not only my love of events, but also my value in helping to elevate other event professionals through business process optimization and coaching. In 2021, I was approached by Aisle Planner, a global SaaS tech platform that supports event pros with sales and project management processes, and knew this was the perfect opportunity to bring my love of events, and helping event pros drive success, together. Starting in Business Development and Growth Strategy and then moving into more strategic operations, I took over as President of the company in November 2024.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The events industry is an ever-evolving industry with significant swing periods of business. Learning to gauge business expectations is a constant challenge

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Aisle Planner Pro was created as a needs-based business by an event pro who saw a need to help streamline the work process for event professionals, providing a professional, seamless platform to handle all of their company/client needs.

Professionally, my passion lies in helping to educate and support professionals to ensure they are able to realize the full value of their business through revenue growth but also process optimization to create better work/life balance. I speak nationally on the value of utilizing technology to not only support business growth opportunity (revenue, scalability, expansion) but also on creating a solid foundation to build your business on so that you can achieve your goals while maintaining a healthy work/life balance. Locally, I am known as a connector – helping to forge relationships and create connections that will mutually create value for both parties.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
I grew up in a rural county in southern Maryland, and my family was known for rescuing animals of all kinds. From an early age we had horses on property, and the work ethic instilled in me in maintaining their barn/pastures will always be a fond memory. We were also a family who camped often, spent ample time outdoors, and learned to enjoy the simple opportunities in life, spurring my continued love of nature and adventure.
