Hi Sea, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve been a creative all of my life, becoming a published poet at a young age & dipping my toes & hands into anything I can. At the end of 2020, I began modeling & have sprouted in every direction, becoming an eclectic model of nearly 3 years. I label myself a creative because I dive into so many art forms & see my potential as bigger than one label. Before I began a career in modeling & cannabis, I have always been passionate about preserving the earth & its animals. This year I focus on bigger creative projects to refill my cup after making modeling such a huge working career.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There have been so many more triumphs than failures during the journey. Working with 200+ brands & companies, collectively growing in so many communities, acquiring 20+ skills, walking in over 20 ramp fashion shows in a year, pushing myself till I nearly snap in half, & traveling for career purposes has really put me in place to face my own potential. Each & every day is a struggle I face within my own mind dealing with physical & mental illnesses; sometimes the biggest struggle is merely showing up. I went to LA for my first out-of-state fashion show in October. Unfortunately the day before the show had a panic attack where my body seized, & I still pulled up & did the damn thing. Working full-time in the cannabis industry & have an elderly dog, I’m constantly working & trying to maintain an overall balance in play. The work is never done & a big challenge is changing & processing the next step to align & reflect what is to come next.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a creative author, & model, an artist based in so many practices. I blossom from the earth itself, harnessing myself in eclectic Wicca. I see all my creations & more as a craft. I’ve been a poet & artist since a child when my very first poem was published, making me an author at the age of 8 in ‘The Young Poets Collection VOL 1 2005-2006’. I write in various forms, from creative, poetry, autobiography writing, & more. Content creating, influencing, & networking has opened so many opportunities for me tying into modeling, events, & receiving. I model several types, but I’m mostly known for Fashion & Boudoir. My first modeling publication came within a year of modeling & I’ve had several publications since online, ecom, commercial, magazine, & continue to represent multiple brands. I’m most proud of my versatility & morality. To have worked on so many different aspects in my career & self-work really separates me from many beings. As an alternative model, being under 5-foot, hormonal acne, nonbinary, & mentally ill, I still continue to conquer so many things in my life from trauma to work, I still show up unapologetically.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
It’s always the little things. Nature & the innocence in play from gratitude of the sound of a stream to people watching & observing others enjoying life. I absolutely love the water & have always wanted to move to the south coast to be closer to the ocean, but I would miss having seasons! Being at peace with nature is my happy place. There’s nothing more pleasurable than appreciating all that is in its serenity. I appreciate nature for all that it is because it is the last of our ancestors, of eternal playgrounds; it is energy balancing with energy.
