Hi Sophia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started my flower business back in 2017. I always knew that I wanted to own a business where I can create something beautiful. I have enjoyed learning about the flower business more and more each day. I think that the most satisfying part is the feedback that I receive from my customers. I specialize in everyday arrangements, designs, and special events. My company sells preserved roses (real roses) that last two years.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was not an easy road to start the business because I was learning as I went. Instead of sitting around wondering if I could make it happen, I figured it would be best to just try my best and see what happens. Nothing worth having is ever easy. I appreciate the good days in business because of the bad days. I learned so much about business through my flower company that if I had the opportunity to do it again, I wouldn’t change a thing.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Besides having my flower company, I also work as a police dispatcher. I have been doing that for about six years. I have taken numerous emergency calls and have dispatched police to emergency calls.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
My favorite apps are TikTok -so addicting and Instagram. In today’s world keeping up with social media is the best way to boost your business.
