Hi Sophy, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My book The “Battlefield Rising from the Ashes is a powerful and inspiring memoir that chronicles the life of a woman who has survived unimaginable hardships. The story details her journey through sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, as well as rejection and abandonment. She navigates the painful cycle of domestic violence, going in and out of shelters, all while battling the mental illness that stemmed from childhood trauma.
Despite the overwhelming challenges, the protagonist’s faith in God becomes her source of strength and healing. Through her deep spiritual transformation, she experiences complete healing, rising from the ashes of her past. Her story is a testimony of resilience and divine intervention, showcasing how she became a soldier in the army of the living God, empowered to fight the battles of her life and emerge victorious. The book serves as a message of hope for others, deliverance, demonstrating that no matter the scars of the past, with faith and perseverance, healing and redemption are possible.

This road has been really challenging. I faced warfare and had to fight the demons of my past. And generational curses that I had to defeat.

I am an author and I’m an ordained pastor. My business is to help empower Women through advocacy. I work as an parent advocate in the foster care system. I believe this is my mission to help families overcome life’s struggles through spiritual growth and Biblical principles. By building our foundation in our faith in Jesus Christ.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Yes, my life has been based on taking risk. God has always guided me when the risk I was taking was going to cause me harm.
