Daily Inspiration: Meet Viviana Diaz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Viviana Diaz

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always been a creative person, but when I had my son, it was like a spark was lit, and I instantly wanted to make all his milestones cute and memorable. He literally started it all! I planned and decorated his first birthday, and I just kept improving and making the next ones more and more elaborate! By his 6th birthday party, I had planned an entire event with backdrops, balloons, vendors, props, and everything I hadn’t done before, and there @poshedbyviv began! I’m so proud of how far I’ve come, and it’s all been self-taught! TikTok, YouTube, and lots of practice have gotten me this far. The support I have received from friends and strangers (who become amazing customers) has been overwhelming and I’m truly thankful for everyone who has been here with me.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has definitely been a learning experience, not easy but totally worth it! Since I am self-taught, it took a lot of trial & error, a lot of practice, patience, and effort to get where I am. Finding the right type of backdrops to use, types of weights to hold everything down, finding the best quality balloons to enhance my work, the design process. A lot of behind-the-scenes work goes into our work that customers don’t see. I have learned to just give myself enough time beforehand to prepare and plan in order to have a successful setup.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I can 100% say that the thing that sets me apart from others is my creativity and my customer service. It’s not “just balloons”. Actually, it’s a lot more than that. Anyone can blow up a balloon but it’s so much more. It’s designing, painting, cutting, research, it’s brainstorming ideas and making them come together in one setup. As for customer service, I always put my customer first. I know they are paying me their hard-working money to make their event beautiful, and I don’t take that for granted.
