Today we’d like to introduce you to Yolanda(yoli) Marino
Hi Yolanda(Yoli), please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I come from and amazing family of entrepreneurs. My Parents are in book called “We Made San Deigo”.
My father introduced me to the jewelry business when I was 12. My Dad was an amazing self-taught bench jeweler who began selling custom pieces at the Swap Meet. He eventually made enough money to open a store in Chula Vista.
I always admired my dad, and working for him was such a gift.
When I lost my dad in 2023, I knew it was time to venture out on my own.
I am more afraid of not trying than failing.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Working on the business and in the business are two very different things.
There is so much to do!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have been designing and curating bridal and fine jewelry for almost 40 years.
I am most proud of the relationships I have with my clients and friends in my industry.
People pay me to help them celebrate a person, make a commitment, mark a milestone. What a job!
