Doriana Sinnett of San Diego County on Life, Lessons & Legacy

Doriana Sinnett shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hi Doriana, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
All three—intelligence, energy, and integrity—are important to me, as each plays a significant role in my life. However, I would place integrity above the others. Having a strong moral compass is essential; it guides my decisions and actions. Intelligence is valuable because it allows me to grow and evolve, while energy gives me the vitality and drive to pursue my goals and make a difference in the world. But without integrity as a foundation, the other qualities lose their true meaning.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Creativity has always been at the core of who I am. From a young age, I’ve been driven by intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning. As a digital artist, I have the unique opportunity to channel that curiosity into my work, constantly exploring new techniques and embracing the rapid changes in technology. What makes my journey truly special is how each creation seems to develop a life of its own when I’m fully immersed in the artistic process. My art not only reflects my personal explorations but also invites others to experience the wonder and excitement of creative discovery.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
A pivotal moment that shaped my worldview occurred when I was 17. I found myself deeply contemplating the question: What happens to the soul after death? Does it simply become null and void? This curiosity sparked a profound search for understanding. By the time I was 18, that search led me to a deep spiritual awakening, and from that point forward, my journey became one of continual growth and exploration. This experience profoundly influenced how I seek knowledge and approach life, grounding me with a sense of purpose and wonder.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Both suffering and success are essential for personal growth, but suffering offers unique lessons that success cannot. When I experience hardship, I am forced out of my comfort zone, which leads to a shift in my perspective. The obstacles and setbacks I face become catalysts for transformation, teaching me resilience, humility, and adaptability. While success is gratifying, it’s the challenges and difficulties that truly drive my growth and shape who I am.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, the version of myself that I present to the public is authentic. I strive to live in alignment with my core values, and I always aim to put forth my best self in every situation.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If immortality were real, what would you build?
Spiritual growth!
