Hi there! I’m Ananda Griffo, a 31-year-old Brazilian who’s been calling San Diego home for the past six years. My journey began back in Brazil, where I graduated in Business with a focus on Marketing and Entertainment. After spending five years working for Red Bull in Brazil, my passion for marketing and sales truly blossomed.
The adventure took a new turn when I moved to the U.S., bringing my dreams and ambitions along. It was here in California that I decided to take the leap and start my own marketing agency. And who better to join me on this exciting journey than my best friend from high school, Renata? Together, we built something special.
Today, our agency doesn’t just serve San Diego but operates all across the U.S., with clients from New York City to Ohio and, of course, California. Our mission? To make people’s business dreams come true. We strive to help them achieve their goals and bring their visions to life.
At our agency, we offer a full suite of online business services, but our true specialty lies in Social Media Management. We pride ourselves on crafting personalized plans that cater to each client’s unique needs. In addition, we provide top-notch media production, paid advertising, and graphic design services. With nearly four years in the market, our agency is growing every day. My dream is to continue expanding and helping more businesses flourish. After all, nothing makes me happier than seeing our clients succeed and knowing we played a part in their journey.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting my journey in a completely new country came with its fair share of obstacles. One of the biggest challenges was starting from scratch, especially in the business world where networking is key. I had no established connections here and had to build my network from the ground up.
It’s incredibly challenging to find business opportunities when you haven’t grown up in the place. My first hurdle was making new friends and business connections. Every step involved a lot of effort and perseverance, but each connection made and every friendship formed was a crucial milestone in my journey.
As you know, we’re big fans of Reconnect Marketing. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Reconnect has been in business for almost four years, and in that time, we’ve grown into a dynamic marketing agency operating not only across the U.S. but also internationally, including places like Dubai. Our primary focus is social media management because we believe in making brands stand out from the competition through innovative content creation and creative ideas.
As two co-founders from Brazil, we bring a unique flair to our work. What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned along my journey is that everyone has their own unique light and way of doing things, and respecting this individuality is crucial. Whether it’s my team with their diverse creative minds, our clients with their specific needs, or even our competitors with their strengths, recognizing and honoring these differences has been key to our success.
