Today we’d like to introduce you to Caleb Ferreira.
Hi Caleb, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Before my career in real estate, I spent several years in finance, which I now believe played a huge part in my quick success in real estate. I gained experience on how to discuss people’s financial goals and how to identify solutions for them. My experience as a Private Client Banker laid a strong foundation for always aiming to exceed my client’s expectations and deliver the highest level of customer service. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset and have been detail-oriented. Right out of high school I had dreams of becoming a real estate agent just like my dad. Through watching my dad’s work in real estate, I noticed that I too had the necessary skills to be a successful business owner. After much consideration and strong support from my family, I decided to make the career change to real estate and never look back.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’m blessed to be able to say that I’ve always exceeded my goals and expectations Year over a year since getting into real estate. I took the decision very carefully when considering this industry. I felt very confident that I had the right drive, mindset, determination and “why” to succeed in this career. I absolutely love that this is truly a platform where the sky is the limit and you can succeed as far as your dreams can take you.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Mission Realty Group?
I count my blessings when I look back at the brokerage I decided to partner with when getting started, Mission Realty Group. I’ve chosen to stay with this company 10 times over by now. The culture is unmatched and is built on a family mindset. Leaning on one another and supporting each other. Our primary focus is to create a platform to give back and love on our community. Real estate deals always seem to follow a servants heart. We pride ourselves on our reputation for being willing to go above and beyond the scope of real estate. Supporting families where they are and the needs that they have. We have even formed a non-profit called the Santee Mission Foundation which give us the ability to better support the local families in need. I believe this foundation in our company is what sets us apart from other brokerages.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I’m not a huge believer in luck. I believe if you want something bad enough, with hard work and determination you can achieve it. Regardless of any obstacles that are put in your way. I’ve had obstacles in my life that I could have let shake me up and defeated me. I could have said these circumstances are “unlucky” and unfair or I could choose to rise above my circumstances and learn from them to overcome them. If you truly understand your WHY and PURPOSE, you always push through any unlucky adversities.
