Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
How i got started i believed in my self when I was homeless and as I was homeless I was able to open my boutique called ochea fashion boutique i use to do hair for ALOPECIA women i had a thriving shop but when 2010 hit the market crashed and I hit rock bottom and was able to build my new business that’s how ochea fashion boutique was built i never knew I could design until these things hit as know a celebrity designer i kept the faith that I was here to be a blessing to others my faith in God was always my refudge during the time of building my boutique i ended up receiving an award from jarvee Hutchinson motion pictures association from Beverlyhills and know have many Awards from presidents Obama bidden and donald trump for humanitarian and senates so grateful
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I think alot of stuggles is when you want to give up sometimes you don’t get much support but I kept the faith with my belief in God that I’m not here for no reason I believe I have a purpose so having a purpose and also believe in yourself that you are a conquer to give
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Ochea fashion boutique ?
Ochea means original fashion I’m one of akind designs which gives women confidence in them selfs and know they are leaders not followers i have a mission called helping women in leadership though fashion and our mission is to help the women in south sudan and homeless women my designs reflect freedom and confident and power to be bold yet classy
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Bad luck was macking wrong decisions the good luck is don’t dwell on it use it as a tool to learn from it and build to improve new never give up i am so grateful to have a book called what are you wearing the inspirational spiritual side of fashion with 20 wonderful co authors its in Egypt oldest library and just got into kenya library in Africa. and Rockefeller new york plaza #1 US and international award-winning.and was able to be amb Dr chebra dorsey in london and was able to be in gsfe a womens group with my ceo robbie motter called global society for Female Entrepreneurs organization it help me in many ways she always say showing up is the key to success always stay humble in your growth for success
