Exploring Life & Business with Chloe Daniels of Clo Bare, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chloe Daniels.

Chloe Daniels

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I spent most of my life as someone who identified as being “bad with money”. I like many people used money to cope with my mental health struggles, often putting me in a worse and worse position, which only exacerbated my problems. After years of doing this, I started to believe that my solution was to just find someone to do it all for me– ideally in the form of a partner, but by doing that, I ended up in one toxic relationship after the next, where I was constantly giving away my power and again… ending up in worse situations because of it. Finally in 2018, I looked at the common denominator– me. I decided it was time to stop relying on others, and instead decided to just TRY to figure this whole money thing out, and since then– I increased my net worth by about $400k in a little under 5 years. As I started to learn about money, I started sharing what I learned on the internet, developed a following, and from that I started a financial literacy business that just surpassed $1 million in revenue since it was founded in 2021.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road!

Every year I feel like I’m a new business owner facing new challenges and new problems. I’ve had to learn how to adapt and remember that just because something worked last month, doesn’t mean it will work again next month.

A few struggles we’ve dealt with in the last couple of years:

Scaling: Scaling comes with tons of new problems, and often expensive ones! We originally only had organic traffic coming into the business, but now we also use paid traffic via Meta ads, and that can be very expensive. We had an issue with the Meta platform last month that cost us over $25k. Learning how to adapt to big issues like that has been quite the whirlwind, but with each challenge I face, solving the problem makes me a better business owner.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Clo Bare, LLC?
I provide both free and paid financial literacy resources via blogs, podcasts, social media, and paid programs/digital products.

My approach to teaching people about money is to make it fun, shame-free, and easy to understand. I’m known for my ridiculously bad dancing skills that I do while also sharing money tips. The feedback I’ve gotten from my community is that I’m relatable, and me showcasing my bad dancing skills while also talking about finances actually makes people realize– huh, maybe I could learn this money stuff if it was taught to me in a fun way like this lady is showcasing!

I’ve build a community of over 300k on Tik Tok and Instagram, which I’m pretty proud of but I’ve also got a community of over 2k lazy investors who have enrolled in our courses that are absolutely crushing it with their finances. Nothing makes me more happy than when I meet someone who is super overwhelmed with their money, has no idea what to do and feels like they can’t– then they go through one of our programs and suddenly they’re like– Holy cow! I can do this and I feel so empowered! We’ve had incredible success stories of folks who have gone from paycheck to paycheck lifestyles to increasing their net worth by $20k, $50k, even $100k+ in as little as a year. It’s so cool to be part of their stories and help them achieve the things they never thought possible.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
“You’re a badass” by Jen Sincero is one that always helps me with my mindset. I know it’s a bit corny, but her energy reminds me to be delusional in my belief of what I can achieve– and it works!
