I grew up in the Bay Area surrounded by vintage cars—both my dad and grandpa collect and race them. From a young age, I was fortunate to attend shows, races, and tours with them, and I was always the one in charge of keeping the cars spotless. That responsibility turned into something I truly enjoyed and took pride in.
In high school, I started Dan’s Auto LLC, beginning with my grandpa’s cars and then expanding to family and friends. I continued detailing throughout high school and college, and when I graduated in May 2021, I told myself I’d do “one more good summer” of detailing before getting a traditional job. That summer was a turning point—it showed me that this passion could be my career.
Since then, I’ve gone all-in on detailing. I work on everything from daily drivers to some of the rarest and most celebrated classic cars in the world. My work has been part of award-winning showings at prestigious events such as Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering, and the Grand National Roadster Show, among many others.
For me, detailing isn’t just about making a car shine—it’s about honoring its history, craftsmanship, and the people who love it.

I started my business in the Bay Area, where I grew up and where my family is based. When I later moved down to San Diego, it took time to establish my name and build a strong customer base. Just like most small business owners will tell you there’s always some bumps in the road.

The most important lesson I’ve learned is that strong relationships and consistent results are everything. In this business, people aren’t just trusting you with their cars—they’re trusting you with something personal and valuable to them. Building long-term relationships comes from showing up every time, delivering the same high-quality results, and treating every vehicle with the same care and respect, whether it’s a daily driver or a world-class show car.
