Today we’d like to introduce you to Darian Didier.
Hi Darian, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
From a young age, I always had a passion for clothes and expressing my style. I enjoyed helping others find outfits or pieces that would make them feel their absolute best. For this reason, I finally decided to follow my dreams, and DARIAN DIDIER came to life. My goal was to create something that would make women feel comfortable and confident, with quality that would last. This line is compiled of everyday essential pieces that are able to be dressed up or down and will become wardrobe staples. They are key pieces every woman should have in their closet to create a perfect outfit.
It took me a while to finally have the courage to start my business. I was scared and felt like I didn’t have the enough knowledge to actually start. But now I realized that was the right push I needed to actually start my clothing line. It’s okay not to know because the only way to know is to immerse yourself in it. You learn from your mistakes and grow.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The process can be challenging because there are so many emotions you have to go through behind the scenes that most people don’t show or tell you about. It’s the fear of failing, but like I said before making a mistake is OK because you just learned a lesson, and you will succeed next time. When starting a business, you can’t be scared to fail – that is one of the biggest secrets. And say it does take a couple tries, that moment when it does work out, it is the most beautiful and rewarding feeling. When overcoming challenges, it’s important to sit with it and not run away. You have to face it head-on – that is the key.

I want the world to know that when they are wearing DARIAN DIDIER, they are wearing self-love. No matter who you are, what you look like, where you come from, or what you’ve gone, you are loved. We all have our own story, and that is what makes us all so special. We are uniquely perfect in our own ways. No one is you, and that is your power.
I get so excited when I hear women tell me how beautiful they feel in my clothes. I do a little happy dance! Some women have told me they struggled finding dresses they feel confident in, but my design fits perfectly and holds their curves in all the right places. Fits like a glove! Others are shocked how amazing the fabric feels. They say it’s amazingly soft, and they want to sleep in it!
One thing I have noticed is that a lot of pregnant women have being wearing my clothes. I had one customer telling me she had a breakdown because her clothes started to not fit, but when she tried the bodysuit on it made her feel comfortable and confident. I’ve been told the dress holds the stomach nicely too. And if you feel like having a Rihanna moment the crop tops are perfect!
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out.
It’s okay to ask for help. You do not need to do it alone. There are genuine people who want to see you succeed – don’t be afraid to be open-minded. And if you start to get discouraging thoughts – take a moment to yourself and breathe. Tell yourself, “Look how far you have come.” In a way, I think it’s the universe testing you to see how badly you want it. So, use that feeling to push you to keep going. Our emotions can be our superpower.
