Exploring Life & Business with Dee Biglangawa of Tiny Baubles LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dee Biglangawa.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have always had an interest in entrepreneurship and owning my own business. In 2019 I opened a small interior design business that was unfortunately cut short due to Covid. Fast forward to 2024 when I attended a wine festival at the Park Hyatt Aviara hotel in Carlsbad. I got my first permanent jewelry piece there; a gold anklet with an charm and I was HOOKED! As a lover of dainty, feminine pieces that I never like to take off, it was perfect.

My entrepreneurial brain was sparked and I quickly researched how I could start my own permanent jewelry business. I found that there weren’t many offerings in North County so I was determined to build my locally-owned brand and provide quality, handcrafted, affordable jewelry pieces to my customers. Tiny Baubles was established in the summer of 2024 and I’m thrilled to be thriving.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
While Tiny Baubles is a labor of love, it’s not my only stream of income. I also have a full time career running operations for a wealth management team in San Diego. As you can imagine, being a full-time mom with a career and small business is no easy task.

I’ve spent the last year building my business from the ground up and I’ve definitely experienced challenges along the way. I love what I do and it’s extremely rewarding to be able to run my business the way I want and be my own boss but it’s hard when you wear all the hats! Juggling motherhood, a career, and a small business while still trying to be healthy, be a good wife, daughter, sister & friend has been my biggest struggle hands down.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Tiny Baubles LLC ?

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My biggest supporters have been my husband, son, mom, extended family and friends. I show my gratitude in a fun way by naming all of my chains after my friends and family who have supported my small business in some way or other. Whether it’s a like, follow, share, purchase or referral, I deeply appreciate all the support and love I receive. No gesture is too small!

Biggest shout out of all goes to my husband RJ who tirelessly helps me with setups and breakdowns and is my sounding board for all things in my life, business or personal. He is a wonderful dad who really steps up, especially during the crazy weeks when we need all hands on deck. I could not run this business without him and I’m so grateful.
