Hi Eric, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
As the California Broker and Vice President of Green Life Business Group, I have been a foundational part of the company since its inception, offering almost a decade’s worth of expertise in the dynamic California Cannabis Market. My professional objective has always been anchored in conducting business practices with honesty and ethical integrity, thereby promoting the highest level of transparency. I am committed to elevating and reshaping the public’s perception of Realtors and Brokers operating within the Cannabis Industry. This commitment is fulfilled through continuous self-education, fully harnessing and challenging my talents, and striving for excellence in all my endeavors. As a result of this persistent pursuit, I am recognized as a top producer and respected as a leader within the industry.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We started the company in 2016, we were one of the first companies to ever start doing cannabis business brokerages in 2016. Speed the clock up ’16-’17 were very challenging. By the end of 2018 we got some really good feathers in our cap. One of them being that we sold the very first every dispensary in LA, it was a big deal at the time. LA was the Mecca of the industry, and this owner had 1 of the 1st 120 temp licenses to sale. They were doing $3M in medical sales and we sold it to a public company for $10.5M. We will never see valuations that high again. We have taken our blueprint from California and branched out nationwide, learning each new market, valuations, etc.
