Hello, and thank you for this wonderful opportunity to share a bit of my personal journey with you. It’s been quite a ride, filled with passion and the joy of creating art. I began my career as a civil engineer back in 1988, but my heart has always been drawn to the world of artistic expression. The turning point came when I started crafting hand-made sculptures at home, experimenting with wood, copper, and steel. The positive response encouraged me to take a leap and open my own business in Jordan, in the heart of the Middle East. I embraced modern technology, incorporating router machines and laser technology, elevating the quality and precision of my work. We expanded our horizons; we established another location here in San Diego.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Certainly, the road hasn’t been all smooth. Transitioning from civil engineering to the art world brought its challenges. Starting a business in Jordan meant overcoming doubts and working hard to establish a brand. The move to San Diego, while opening new doors, introduced logistical hurdles in managing the business in Jordan from a far and establishing a presence in a new market. Despite the challenges, each obstacle has been a chance to learn and grow. It hasn’t always been easy, but the journey has been rewarding, teaching me resilience and the value of staying true to my passion.
