Today we’d like to introduce you to Helene Suos.
Hi Helene, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I moved to San Diego 10 years ago and have been in the hospitality industry ever since. In 2023, I launched my wedding event planning business, Happily Chic Events. Being French, I’ve always loved caviar, it’s part of the culture I grew up with. Once I was deep into planning weddings and events, I realized there was nothing like it being offered as an experience here, so I thought a caviar bar would make such a memorable add-on for any event. That’s how Happily Caviar was born.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been smooth, no, there are always challenges, especially as an entrepreneur doing everything yourself. Wearing every hat, from sourcing to marketing to managing events, can be overwhelming at times. But I’ve learned that you can’t wait for everything to be perfect. Sometimes you just have to start and see what happens, and figure the rest out along the way.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I offer a mobile caviar bar designed to elevate any event with a fun, interactive, and elegant experience. What sets me apart is my passion for caviar, I’m not just serving it, I want to educate people too, sharing the history and craft behind it, and I have plans to expand into tastings that do just that. What I’m most proud of is that since creating the brand, every event has been such a positive experience, the feedback has been overwhelmingly good, and that keeps me motivated to keep pushing Happily Caviar forward.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I want to say a huge thank you to all the clients and collaborators who have trusted and supported Happily Caviar since day one, your support and kind words truly mean the world to me and push me to keep growing this brand.
