Hi Jordyn, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Growing up, I always had an entrepreneurial mindset and believed deeply in servant leadership and the power of hard work. My competitive spirit, which drove me to compete at the highest level, shaped much of who I am today. I was recruited to play college volleyball during my junior year of high school, and that same drive has carried me throughout my career.
With a background recognized for excellence in both Northern California and San Diego’s Finance community, I decided to merge my achievements with my passion for real estate and my love for connecting with people.
I was fortunate to meet my mentor and Broker, Erika Borunda, early on in my career. Her mission for Exude Luxury Group and her leadership style—rooted in humility and vision—deeply inspired me. I knew I wanted to be part of a team that prioritized cutting-edge technology, systems, and processes to elevate the client experience.
Since joining Exude Luxury Group, our team has surpassed $200 million in sales and earned recognition in the San Diego real estate community. My priority when working with my clients goes beyond helping them find their dream home; I strive to help them build generational wealth through real estate. I ensure that every transaction is a wise investment and focus on cultivating relationships long after the transactions close. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m excited for what’s ahead as I continue to serve my clients and grow in this amazing city I call home.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting my real estate career after finishing collegiate volleyball at the highest level came with a significant inner struggle. It marked the beginning of a new chapter, but it also meant starting fresh in an entirely different field at a beginner level—after years of competing at such a high level in something I had devoted much of my life to.
The transition was humbling. I had to embrace discomfort and remind myself that growth often comes from stepping outside of our comfort zones. I drew many parallels between my real estate career and my volleyball journey. Just as I once struggled to serve over the net but eventually mastered 40 mph jump serves, I realized that the same patience, dedication, and hard work would be necessary for success in real estate.
I overcame this challenge by fully committing to the process of mastery and understanding that true success is built through consistent effort over time. I also leaned on the incredible, high-level individuals God had placed around me, recognizing that a strong, supportive team is vital in any pursuit.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
The real estate industry is constantly evolving, and over the next 5-10 years, I anticipate significant shifts that will reshape how we operate. Technology will continue to play a pivotal role, with innovations like virtual tours, AI-driven market insights, and blockchain technology making transactions more efficient and transparent. With millennials and Gen Z entering the market, preferences for walkable neighborhoods and community-centric living will drive future housing trends. Additionally, more people are recognizing real estate as a critical tool for building generational wealth, fueling interest in investment properties and alternative housing models. As market conditions fluctuate, the role of real estate professionals will become even more crucial, with clients seeking trusted advisors to guide them through complex decisions. While trends and technologies will evolve, the core of the industry will remain focused on building relationships and delivering exceptional service.
