Hi Juliann, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Unreal Designs, Inc. was formed out of a desire to do better and be better for the environment and help people bring their Artificial Greenery dreams to life. Our products look so life-like, you’ll be asking yourself, “Is it real?” We offer consultation, design, sales, installation, and event rental in the Southern California area and beyond.
Proud to be woman owned, we have a small but dedicated team devoted to bringing you the best products and service we have to offer. We build all purchases, custom-made to order, out of our warehouse in San Diego, CA. Each member of our team has years of experience in this industry, whether it be for sales, fabrication, assembly, or installation.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I wouldn’t know a smooth road if it was lit up and someone was holding a sign explaining the road was smooth. However, all the hard work that we, as a team, have put into this business has been more than worth it. I’m truly blessed to be able to say that each of us, myself and our small but dedicated team, is happy with not only where we are but what we’re doing. Each day is a new, exciting opportunity that we’re happy to tackle.

In addition, we also offer Artificial Boxwood Hedges for rent. We’re honored to be a part of our client’s events and the memories that are created at those events. We have 8′ tall x 4′ long hedges for backdrops and privacy and mini 3.5′ tall x 4′ long hedges for space division. Newly added to our collection, we now offer champagne and wine racks to add to our hedges and elevate your next event.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
There’s no easy path to success, but you won’t know if you’re even on the path until you go for it. My advice would be to go for it, make your dream a reality, and bring along as many people as you can who believe in you and what you’re doing. It’s incredible to work with those who share your passion, ideals, and drive. It is truly satisfying to look at an install and realize your vision has come to life.
