Today we’d like to introduce you to Juliette Jurcak.
Hi Juliette, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I always had an interest in wedding planning. After planning my own wedding and seeing it all come together, it really made me want to pursue wedding planning full-time. After moving to San Diego, I started as an event assistant at a venue downtown quickly made it to Lead Coordinator & after a year and a half, I decided to branch out and start LOVER
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting LOVER has been the best adventure. I’ve met amazing couples, made many new vendor friends, and have had so much fun defining what LOVER is and will be. With this, there’s much pressure in owning your own business. It’s been a learning process deciding when to close the laptop at the end of the night, choosing which clients and vendors to work with all while creating a brand and aesthetic. Through everything, I am so excited to see what LOVER becomes over the next few years
We’ve been impressed with LOVER, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
LOVER is wedding planning & coordination. I named my company LOVER because, to me, wedding planning is just about two lovers. All the details, ideas, designing, and planning that go into a wedding are all because two people fell in love, and I get to plan a beautiful day for them to celebrate their love with friends & family.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
On wedding days, I drink way too much caffeine, I wear heels even though they destroy my feet, dessert is the only meal I set aside time for, and I love every second of it.
