Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephany Peterson
Hi Stephany, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My story of starting ForEvermore Weddings by Stephany started unexpectedly. I had been working in healthcare for many years and had gone to college for Sports and Health Sciences. I have always loved to design, create and orchestrate parties and events. I had met a dear friend of mine at church and she introduced me to the world of wedding planning and the wedding industry. I worked with her and fell in love. I began to realize how my skills I had built in corporate healthcare could translate to wedding planning and how I could “marry” my love of organization, leadership and planning with design, client services and business all in one. Thus, ForEvermore Weddings by Stephany was born!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Opening and owning my own business definitely has had its challenges. Going from a place of familiarity in a career field and a 9-5 job that had consistency, to a new industry and clientele was an adjustment. However, if I were being honest, the largest struggle I had to face was my self doubt. I have always been a good problem solver, creator and communicator, but starting a business can bring out insecurities and concerns I had not considered until I started. With the help of my incredible husband, support of our family, friends, and a good therapist (if you know you know), the struggles have been overshadowed by the amazing blessing which is ForEvermore Weddings.

At ForEvermore Weddings by Stephany, my goal is to not only empower my couples to plan a dream wedding, but to come alongside of them to create a personalized event to celebrate THEIR love story. My team and I specialize in planning events with our clients from choosing a venue to executing all on wedding day. We offer Full-service planning packages for our couples that want a complete planning experience, down to our couples that want to experience planning their day on their own and have our team execute on wedding day. I am so proud of our team and how we make it our mission to have each couple feel seen, heard and supported. We pride ourselves on communication, honesty and ability to help make your day special and memorable. One of the ways ForEvermore stands out is that I personally meet with each potential client to share what we do and how we can best serve them. While I have the BEST team, I want to ensure that every client will feel supported and know who will be overseeing their big day. Every wedding is personal to me. I want to know each couple, I love to hear their love stories and help translate that into their wedding day.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I have always considered myself a calculated risk taker (if that’s a thing). I like to calculate what the outcome may look like, but in the end, when I am ready to jump, I am ALL in. I like to be responsible with risks as my choices effect some of my most precious people, but I am a firm believer that if you never try something you’ve wanted to do, or know you should do, you’ll always wonder. I also ground myself in my faith and I know that wherever I go and whatever I do, there will be guidance and grace, even if it doesn’t turn out the way I thought it would. If you think about it, you take risks every single day. Whether that’s getting into a vehicle, choosing to love someone, even choosing a place to eat.. there is a level of risk to everything, so I decide to live justly, give mercy and be humble and blessings will come. I am pleased to say that ForEvermore has been a risk that has been one of the very best I have taken.
