Today we’d like to introduce you to The Brew Inn Podcast. They and their team shared their story with us below:
The Brew Inn Podcast is a video/audio podcast hosted by Brewpac Shakur and his two good friends and co-hosts, Art & Brian. The Filipino trio brings an arsenal of comedy, community, and culture to each show while creating community connections through casual conversations.
The podcast started in 2023 as it’s in its freshman year of existence. The idea for the podcast came together jokingly on a few shoots and road trips spent together. The stories, conversations, and experiences shared felt like it was something to capture and share with others.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not a smooth road at all. But a road filled with growing pains and life lessons, from blurry clips to cameras not recording at certain points. It takes a lot of patience to handle all of the editing, both audio and video. A lot of behind-the-scenes prep work before an episode and break down post-recording. At the end of the day, it’s rewarding to see it come together.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
The Brew Inn is a podcast and clothing brand that was created in 2022. The clothing side is to capture the life experiences to continue to tell stories in an artistic way the podcast can’t.
The story behind “The Brew Inn” was the name of the host’s last apartment. It’s wordplay from his favorite basketball team’s mascot growing up, the UCLA bruin bear. He got the word “Brew” from being a huge beer enthusiast in his late 20’s. The word “Inn” is a place people go for lodging, food, and entertainment. It made sense as it was a place where something was always brewing when people got together. Over the 5+ years, The Brew Inn grew to become more than just that.
It was a place where friends and family went to connect, engage, grow, heal, and go to feel safe. That’s the mission of the brand/podcast whenever people are wearing the clothing or on an episode of the podcast, a feeling of “home.”
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
The surprising part is the stories and experiences shared that only a few to none have heard of and starting to unpack in each episode.
