Exploring Life and Business with Tiffany Rovin and Crystal Peterson of Evoke Creative Co

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Rovin and Crystal Peterson.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
The Evoke story goes all the way back to 1992 when Crystal and I became friends. We quickly bonded through creativity and our love of music, sneaking into many bars where we could dance the weekend nights away. Somehow, we managed to outlive the wild stories of our youth, and as young adults, we both set off across the country to explore life, the world, and ourselves. Through the years, we remained good friends. Decades passed, and we found much of what we set out for, starting families and our careers, but we were still looking for a piece of ourselves that had been left undiscovered.

Fast forward to 2018, I was (and am currently) running a successful real estate brokerage, and Crystal was designing wedding invitations for her online shop. We were both happy but not completely fulfilled professionally. One day, that same year in June, it was as if the universe started speaking. Out of the blue, I called Crystal with the idea of starting a creative company. It was that day that our love for design reconnected us in a way we would have never imagined. We had an opportunity to be the creative team behind the brand identity of an exciting new cannabis tech start-up. It was that role that became the foundation for what Evoke has become today, a full-service branding and digital marketing company. We have finally found that missing piece in Evoke Creative. It is our passion and what unites us. Being able to create and help others in business is what we love most.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest challenge we have is simply not having more hours in a day to do a job we love! It’s been a continuous stream of blessings since the day we started Evoke Creative, but just like many other business owners, we are constantly trying to tighten up our processes, improve our workflow and make our team of creatives more efficient overall. That’s something we will never stop doing. There is always room to learn and grow.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Evoke Creative Co?

Sound too good to be true? It’s not.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
We couldn’t do all of this without the help of our team! A huge shoutout to Clara Oliveira, Ameera Al-Masri, CJ Rufkahr, Lara Serhan, and Scott Rovin. We love you and we thank you!
