Hi Alexis, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Alexis Flores’ Entrepreneurship Journey
When I began my career I noticed a pattern: businesses and creators were working hard but not always in ways that truly moved them forward. They were posting without a plan, trying every new trend, and often burning out without seeing the results they hoped for. That was when I realized my strength wasn’t just in creating marketing campaigns. It was in helping people cut through the noise, find clarity, and build strategies that actually worked for them. That was the moment I leaned fully into consulting.
The transition wasn’t easy. Like most entrepreneurs I had to navigate uncertainty, learn to wear many hats, and find my own voice in a crowded space. But every challenge taught me something important: that real growth comes from being intentional, not from doing more.
As a Latina and first generation in everything I have always felt like I was living in two worlds, American and Mexican. That duality shaped the way I see connection and communication. Being bilingual isn’t just about speaking two languages. It is about bridging perspectives, expanding ideas, and understanding audiences in ways that go deeper than translation. It has given me the ability to help brands tell their stories with cultural sensitivity, inclusivity, and authenticity.
One of my proudest moments as a consultant came when I guided a client through restructuring their marketing approach. Instead of spreading themselves thin across every platform we built a strategy aligned with their values, their purpose, and their goals. Not only did they see measurable results, they felt less overwhelmed and more confident in their own story.
Today, as the founder of AlexisxMarketing, I consult with businesses and creators who want more than surface level marketing. I help them design strategies, content, and campaigns that blend creativity with data, all rooted in purpose. For me, consulting is about more than providing answers. It is about being a partner who helps you see the bigger picture, make confident decisions, and grow with intention. Because when your marketing feels aligned your results follow. That is why I chose to be different, on purpose.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road hasn’t always been smooth, but I genuinely enjoy the journey of exploring and mastering the topics I’m passionate about—that’s what keeps me moving forward.

I help businesses and creators grow in ways that feel intentional, creative, and aligned with who they are. Growing up in San Diego with Mexican-American roots has been something I have leveraged my entire life. My superpower (bicultural) gives me a unique perspective to connect with diverse audiences authentically and help brands tell stories that resonate. I see myself as a trusted partner who genuinely wants to see my clients succeed, guiding them with strategies and solutions that deliver real results.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up in San Diego with Mexican-American roots, I was naturally curious, driven, and eager to learn. I was interested in understanding people, solving problems, and finding creative ways to communicate ideas. Being bicultural shaped my perspective, allowing me to navigate different viewpoints, connect with diverse audiences, and adapt effectively to new challenges. These qualities have carried into my professional life, helping me provide thoughtful, strategic guidance to the clients I work with.
