Hidden Gems: Meet Andria Schultz of Actors Brand Academy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andria Schultz.

Andria Schultz

Hi Andria, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I have always been a firm believer in creating opportunities. Entrepreneurship runs in my veins. For as long as I could remember, I would find ways to open doors. I never waited for anyone. If someone told me I couldn’t, you’d be sure to find me figuring out a way to make it a reality. It reminds me that I can’t allow others’ doubts and insecurities to determine what my future is going to be.

The question I mostly get asked is, “How did you get your start in the entertainment industry?”

One summer, I had the opportunity to attend America’s Funniest Home Videos as an audience member. At this taping, I remember being asked to play a game with Tom Bergeron. When it was my time to play, there ended up being a confusion, and another girl took my place. Towards the end of the taping, a producer approached me saying, “I’m so sorry this happened to you…let’s make it up by having you come to another AFV show.” It was at this moment I knew that I had to take the opportunity and responded with, “Better yet, give me a job…I want to work here.”

A few months later, I got the job, and the rest was history. My life changed at this very moment.

I learned that I had asked at the right moment, and it gave me a window to what was possible. In life, you will be given moments to face your fears. That’s when you need to take a leap of faith.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As someone who has faced many challenges in my journey, I can absolutely say that I am beyond grateful for the experiences that I’ve gone through. Doors shut to protect us from what we can’t see. I had a mentor once tell me, “Don’t let this industry ever take that smile of yours away.” I carry the idea that your dreams and aspirations are a window into your future. I want to remind people that if you have a dream, do not let someone’s doubts stray you away. As a matter of fact, my favorite thing in the whole world is when someone tells me that “you can’t,” or “you won’t,” or “that’s impossible if you don’t do…”

Why?
It just means that you are getting closer to your goal. So keep those comments coming. Believe in the impossible and you’ll make it happen. If you’re a dreamer– you’re already 10x ahead of the person that settles in their own life.
Cheers to the Dreamers and the Achievers!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next, you can tell us a bit more about your business.
Actors Brand Academy teaches you how to develop your unique brand and position yourself for success in the acting industry. We strive to encourage, empower and enlighten you to think like Entrepreneurs.

Whether your brand new to acting or established, Actors Brand Academy will challenge you to aim for the stars. It’s designed to turn you into a Desirable and Memorable Actor and teach you about the Business side of the industry.

Actors Brand Academy is taught by Andria Schultz, a Brand Strategist. Michael E. Uslan, Executive Producer of the Batman Films, considers her the antithesis of the Hollywood executive and a role model for those who believe in ethics. Andria’s mission is to empower actors to become the best version of themselves and own their power in Hollywood.

What matters most to you? Why?
I believe in…

Taking Actionable Steps: Success isn’t measured by how much you’ve accomplished or what you intend on accomplishing. It’s measured by the amount of effort and action you implement each day to get to your goal. There’s a secret to achieving all that you want… believe that you can and you will.

Staying True to Oneself: Never compromise your morals and values to get ahead. Being unkind to yourself means that others can do the same to you. Learn to be in a place of conviction.

Being Intentional: How you show up matters. People are extremely perceptive and can read right through your intentions. It’s important to stay authentic and be kind always.
