Hi Brielle, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My path into this work has been a blend of personal interest, clinical training, and entrepreneurship. I originally came from a background in design and marketing, but I became deeply interested in holistic health and preventative medicine in my early twenties. That curiosity led me to pursue a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Health and Sciences in San Diego.
During my training, I noticed a gap in the aesthetics space. Many people wanted to feel confident in their skin, but they also wanted options that supported their long-term health rather than relying solely on injectables or more invasive treatments. That realization sparked my interest in cosmetic acupuncture and holistic skin therapies, where we can address both internal balance and external appearance at the same time.
After years of clinical education and hands-on experience, I opened The Rejuv Room, an alternative aesthetics studio focused on natural, non-toxin approaches to skin health and aging. Today, my work combines traditional Chinese medicine principles with modern skin therapies to help clients not only look better, but also feel more regulated, energized, and supported overall. My goal has always been to create a space that bridges beauty and medicine in a way that feels approachable, results-driven, and rooted in whole-body wellness.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like most entrepreneurial journeys, there have been a lot of learning curves along the way. Building a business in a relatively new niche; alternative, holistic aesthetics; means there isn’t always a clear blueprint to follow. I’ve had to figure out many things in real time, from operations and marketing to client education and financial management.
One of the biggest challenges has been wearing so many hats at once. As a practitioner, you’re focused on patient care and results, but as a business owner you also have to think about systems, growth, and sustainability. Balancing those roles can be demanding, especially in the early stages.
There’s also the element of educating the public. Many people are unfamiliar with cosmetic acupuncture or holistic skin therapies, so part of the journey has been building trust and helping clients understand that there are effective alternatives to more conventional aesthetic treatments.
That said, the challenges have also been the most valuable part of the process. They’ve pushed me to become more resourceful, more confident in my clinical approach, and more intentional about the kind of experience I want to create for clients. Every obstacle has ultimately contributed to the growth of both the business and myself as a practitioner.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Persistence has been the most important factor in my success. Building a business in a newer space requires staying committed even when there isn’t a clear roadmap. I’ve also learned that adaptability is essential, being willing to adjust, grow, and improve along the way.
At the core, though, genuine care for people drives everything I do. When you focus on helping clients truly feel better and more confident, they are able to be more successful in their own lives.
