Hi Brittnie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I got my start in real estate during college, working as an admin and marketing assistant for a real estate team. Those early years gave me a solid foundation, and I quickly realized I wanted to take on bigger projects and dive deeper into the industry.
After a couple of years, I moved into a director of operations and marketing role for a team, where I truly learned the backend of real estate. From communicating with vendors and managing contracts to creating marketing pieces for social media, listings, and events—I gained hands-on experience in every detail of what makes real estate successful.
A few years ago, I decided to take a leap of faith and became a full-time agent. With my extensive background in operations and marketing, I was able to hit the ground running, using that knowledge to navigate the industry and make a meaningful impact for my clients.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
A lot of people think jumping into real estate leads to instant success and money, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. When I went full-time as an agent, it took time to build up my clientele. I had to put in hours marketing myself and making calls to let people know I was ready to help them find their perfect home. It was a constant cycle of networking, following up, and building relationships to earn the trust of clients. It was challenging but incredibly rewarding to see my hard work start to pay off.
