Hi Corinne, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My Story: Corinne’s Journey of Bridging Science and Spirituality
Ever since I was a child, I’ve been endlessly curious about the world around me. Whether it was diving deep into astrophysics, transpersonal psychology, or anthropology, I was always on a quest to understand the intricate tapestry of existence. Somehow, I’ve ended up with multiple degrees and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in psychology. It’s this inexplicable pull towards exploring where science meets spirituality!
I’ve often wondered how my curiosity about human potential, mind-body science, and transpersonal psychology would blend with the business expertise I’ve gathered over the years. It feels like everything’s coming together now, especially with movements like conscious capitalism, yoga becoming mainstream, and meditation becoming a common practice.
Equally, I’ve had a lifelong pull the the arts and found true joy in creative expression in writing a screenplay, poetry, singing, acting, painting, creating music, and writing my first book. Currently, my creative passion is Fire Dancing, and I’m working on my next book, “Infinity Within.” I truly believe creative expression is an essential piece of a Spiritual Path.
As an entrepreneur and the founder of Wild Divine Bliss, my mission is to help others connect with their inner selves and the larger universe. Wild Divine Bliss is all about integrating the Art of Life and the Science of Spirituality. Through it, I offer insights and mentorship to those seeking a deeper connection with themselves and the cosmos. I also believe that the rapid advancement in technology can truly help us become better versions of ourselves, which I highlight in my TEDx talk “Is it a Screen or is it a Portal.”
My business journey has been equally rewarding. As a business mentor, I’ve had the privilege of guiding many entrepreneurs to discover their true purpose and align their business goals with their personal values. I’ve had the privilege of working with world-class organizations such as Los Alamos National Laboratory, NASA, and the Alliance for Innovation in Science and Technology Information. I also once owned a newspaper franchise, successfully launching and managing “The Onion” in the Santa Fe, Los Alamos, and Albuquerque areas. Currently, I’m also proud to be part of the team of Business Mentors at Pinnacle Global Network, where I support business leaders in their growth and development.
Living in Carlsbad, California, I’m constantly inspired by the beauty and creativity around me. I’m also a mom to an amazing teenage son who keeps me on my toes and brings so much joy to my life. Whether I’m prepping for my next fire dance performance or developing new material to help people with their spiritual development, my goal is always to inspire and empower others to live passionately.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutley NOT a smooth road. For most of my life I had no idea what to focus on. I just loved so many different subjects. Because of that having a “clear” career path, or goal was not something I was every able to do, until recently. Finally, it all came together!
And then I realized I’ve actually accomplished a lot, by what feels like purely out of curiosity leading my life and needing to earn an income at the same time.
Also I have to say Imposter Syndrom and second guessing my talents and abilities has often been a challenge. Since I’m a little “different” sometimes I’ve found it hard to fit in, and feel understood. My enthusiasm for life sometimes gets misinterpreted.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Wild Divine Bliss is a coaching and spiritual wellness brand. I help people connect to their souls and truly live inspired lives! I bridge academic peer-reviewed science with techniques to help adopt a meditation practice, tap into their creative talents, expand on their connection to life through even “synchronicities and psychic events.” Im most proud of all of the material I have created for my courses, and how I bridge science and spirituality so that people can advance on their path of inner peace and fulfillment quickly.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
That there is Divine Timing. Literally, what I call the Rhythm of the Tao. You can’t force things sometimes because it’s not ..time. For example, during COVID I was trying to force myself to refine my brand. But I just experienced a breakup of my 5 year relationship and my mother passed away unexpectedly. I didn’t realize I needed time to grieve and it was also not time for my business to be revived. I learned to have more compassion for myself and learn it’s ok to truly not be ok, and that I was still a lovable person.
