Hi Danny, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Danny Sweis, CEO and Founder of DJS Marketing Services. I am an American entrepreneur living in San Diego, CA. I had the privilege of completing my secondary education overseas at the American Community School of Abu Dhabi (ACS) before pursuing and receiving my bachelor’s degree at SDSU with an emphasis in Marketing. My father graduated from SDSU, as did my uncle, brother, and sister. Fast forward to 2024, I have over a decade of marketing experience and launched my own full-stack, done-for-you digital marketing agency in San Diego.
Now, my main focus is to continue growing the business, empowering my awesome team, and giving back to the community through my #Abbreciate community – where business growth meets gratitude. Stay tuned for more!!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I am fortunate to have great mentors. There are always ups and downs in business and in life, but having the right mindset helps and keeps you on track with your goals. Unnecessary distractions and staying in your comfort zone are success killers. Setting expectations can be a struggle at times because I work with different people from all over the world. Cultural differences, work habits, time zones, and frequency of communication are some of the areas that can make the environment a little more challenging.
