Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Veda.
Hi Dr., thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story is really one of constant reinvention.
I’ve always been someone who could feel when there was more available in life than what was being modeled on the surface. More vitality, more truth, more connection, more depth. That instinct shaped nearly every chapter of my life, even before I had language for it.
Before opening my clinic, I spent years studying not only medicine, but people—how stress changes the body, how relationships affect health, how identity can either heal us or limit us, and how many high-functioning people quietly live disconnected from themselves while appearing “fine” on the outside.
That eventually led me to pursue a doctorate in Eastern medicine and become a licensed acupuncturist. What drew me in was the sophistication of a system that understood health as dynamic, interconnected, and deeply personal. It wasn’t about chasing isolated symptoms—it was about restoring harmony across the whole system.
What brought me to where I am today was realizing I didn’t want to practice in a conventional, transactional way. I wanted to create something more intentional. A space where medicine feels elevated, where people feel deeply seen, and where conversations about vitality, sexuality, aging, stress, and emotional wellbeing can happen without shame.
That vision became Turned On Clinic and my signature approach, The Veda Method™—a modern expression of Eastern medicine designed for people who want to feel fully alive again.
Today, I work with people navigating sexual dysfunction, fertility journeys, burnout, hormonal shifts, emotional stagnation, chronic stress, and the sense that they’ve lost their spark. My work is about helping them reconnect to their body, their energy, and their next chapter.
If there’s a common thread in my path, it’s this: I’ve never been interested in living by default. I’ve always been interested in what becomes possible when someone chooses MULTIDIMENSIONAL expression… and to take things just a little less seriously.and PLAY more.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely has not been a smooth road—and I think that’s true for anyone building something meaningful.
One of the biggest challenges was learning how to trust an unconventional vision before there was external proof it would work. I knew I didn’t want to build a standard practice or fit into a traditional mold, but creating something original can feel vulnerable. There isn’t always a roadmap, and you have to tolerate periods where other people may not fully understand what you’re building.
Another challenge was the sheer discipline required to complete doctoral training while also continuing to evolve personally. When you work in healing, your own growth becomes part of the journey. I had to learn resilience, boundaries, emotional regulation, and how to keep moving forward even during uncertain seasons.
Launching a business brought its own lessons. Opening a clinic asks you to become many people at once—practitioner, strategist, marketer, operator, leader. It stretches you quickly. You realize talent alone isn’t enough; consistency, patience, and adaptability matter just as much.
There were also quieter struggles that many people don’t see: self-doubt, comparing yourself to others, wondering if the timing is right, and learning to keep faith when results aren’t immediate.
But in hindsight, those challenges were formative. They sharpened my voice, strengthened my standards, and helped me build something that actually reflects who I am rather than what was expected of me.
So no, it wasn’t all smooth sailing—but it was worth it.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Turned On Clinic ?
Turned On Clinic is a modern wellness practice rooted in Eastern medicine, designed for people who want more than symptom management—they want to feel fully alive again.
I specialize in acupuncture and integrative care for nervous system regulation, hormonal balance, fertility support, sexual vitality, stress recovery, longevity, and the many ways modern life disconnects people from their natural energy. A large part of my work is helping high-functioning people who look fine on the outside but know something deeper is off—fatigue, burnout, low libido, anxiety, emotional flatness, poor sleep, or a loss of connection to themselves.
What sets my work apart is that I don’t treat people like a list of symptoms. I look at patterns across the whole system: body, mind, hormones, stress physiology, lifestyle, and the emotional landscape someone is living inside of. My signature approach, The Veda Method™, blends clinical acupuncture, nervous system recalibration, personalized strategy, and a highly intentional treatment experience.
I’m also known for bringing conversations into healthcare that are often ignored—especially around desire, intimacy, sensuality, fertility, and the relationship between vitality and overall health. I believe libido, energy, emotional presence, and connection are meaningful indicators of wellness, not superficial topics.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud that Turned On Clinic feels both elevated and deeply human. It’s refined, modern, and premium—but also warm, real, and honest. People often tell me they feel truly seen here, sometimes for the first time in a healthcare setting.
I want readers to know that “turned on” in my world doesn’t just mean sexual. It means awake to your life. It means having access to your energy, your desire, your creativity, your health, and your presence again.
My offerings currently include private one-on-one sessions, fertility support, hormone and vitality care, nervous system-focused treatments, and immersive experiences for individuals and couples who want to deepen connection and well-being.
Ultimately, my brand is about helping people come back online—in their body, in their relationships, and in their life.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that growth becomes much more sustainable when it includes play.
I’ve spent many years in rigorous study—medicine, psychology, human behavior, healing systems, and the deeper questions of life. That path taught me discipline, focus, and respect for mastery. But it also showed me that people can become so serious about healing, success, self-improvement, or “getting life right” that they lose the very aliveness they’re trying to create.
At a certain point, I realized that joy, humor, sensuality, curiosity, creativity, and lightness are not distractions from wellness—they are part of wellness.
Play changes the nervous system. It softens stress physiology, opens connection, increases resilience, and helps us become more adaptable. It brings us back into the present moment. Some of the most profound healing I’ve witnessed—in myself and in others—has happened not through force, but through relaxation, laughter, movement, pleasure, and learning to hold life more lightly.
That doesn’t mean avoiding responsibility or depth. It means understanding that intensity alone is not wisdom. Sometimes the most mature thing we can do is loosen our grip.
I think many adults are starving for permission to be playful again. To explore, to laugh, to flirt with life, to create without overthinking, to enjoy their own existence.
So if there’s one lesson I return to often, it’s this: take your path seriously, but don’t take yourself too seriously. There is medicine in devotion—but there is also medicine in delight.
