Hidden Gems: Meet Gabrijela Stanze of Global Hospitality Management

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabrijela Stanze.

Hi Gabrijela, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I have always been driven by a passion to create memorable experiences, it was natural for me to find my happiness in the hospitality industry. My family owns short term rentals in Croatia on the Adriatic, thus summers were spent cleaning and welcoming guests from around the globe. After I attended hospitality management school in Germany, I spent the next 13 years partnering with corporate restaurants, hotel, and casino’s assisting with increasing profits, monitoring quality control, and consulting on employee training. I learned a lot during those years. The most valuable lesson I took away – One has to have true passion for making people happy to succeed in this industry.

In 2006 I went on to earn my meeting and event certification from UCSD and added tours and events to my repertoire. Once COVID hit, the entire industry shut down. After the initial shock wore off, I combined my knowledge of short term rentals and event design to add another layer of services offered by Global Hospitality, short term rental management. Since then we have successfully remodeled and reopened a historic hotel, several large estates in wine country, and many cute beach bungalows in the US and Europe.

Giving back to my community and people who have helped me along the way is very important to me. Recently we added multi-day wine & culinary tours to Europe, specializing in yet undiscovered areas. We are also assisting with the development of the Missouri wine country and plan on starting to offer regular tours early spring 2026.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
In this competitive world, conveying the message that it takes a wonderful support system to continuously stay successful. Rather than competing, I strive to create win/ win solutions and foster a sense of community with my fellow hospitality professionals, leading with integrity and passion. It takes all of us to make each of us shine!
