Today we’d like to introduce you to Heath Wilson.
Hi Heath, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Heath Wilson, I’m 31 years old, and I’m the proud owner of County Line Fitness, a personal training business I started three years ago. My journey into fitness wasn’t just a career move—it was a calling.
For years, I worked a secure, stable job, but deep down, I always knew I was meant for something more. I’ve always been passionate about health, movement, and the power of fitness to change lives—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. Walking away from that steady paycheck was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made, but I knew I couldn’t ignore the fire inside me to help others become the best version of themselves.
Starting County Line Fitness was about more than workouts and weight loss. It was about building a community, showing people what they’re truly capable of, and giving them the tools and confidence to take control of their own lives. I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible clients who inspire me every day. Watching their growth—both inside and outside the gym—reminds me exactly why I took that leap.
This journey has been filled with lessons, challenges, and some serious hustle, but it’s been the most rewarding experience of my life. I’m just getting started, and I’m excited to keep growing, learning, and changing lives—one rep at a time.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road—but I wouldn’t trade any part of the journey. When I first left my steady job to pursue personal training full time, there was a lot of fear and uncertainty. Starting your own business comes with a steep learning curve, and I had to figure things out as I went—everything from managing finances and building a client base to creating a brand and staying consistent on social media. There were times I questioned if I made the right decision, especially in those early months when the momentum was slow and the pressure was high.
One of the biggest struggles was simply trusting the process. In the world of fitness—and entrepreneurship—you don’t always see results right away. But just like I tell my clients, progress takes patience, discipline, and consistency. I had to live by that advice myself.
There were also personal sacrifices—early mornings, long days, and moments where I had to put in work when others were winding down. But every challenge has shaped me into a stronger coach and a better person. The obstacles taught me resilience and made the victories that much more meaningful. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I know those tough times have laid the foundation for something truly lasting.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
County Line Fitness is more than just a personal training business—it’s a space where real people come to create real change. I work with clients of all fitness levels and backgrounds, helping them build strength, confidence, and healthier lifestyles through personalized training and sustainable habits. Whether someone’s goal is weight loss, muscle gain, or just feeling better in their own skin, I tailor every program to meet their individual needs and lifestyle.
What sets County Line Fitness apart is the personal connection and accountability I bring to every session. I genuinely care about my clients—not just their results, but their journey. I take the time to educate them, support them, and celebrate their wins, no matter how big or small. It’s not a one-size-fits-all approach—it’s about building trust, creating structure, and helping people feel empowered both in and out of the gym.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the community I’ve built. County Line Fitness represents dedication, integrity, and grit. My clients know they’re not just signing up for workouts—they’re joining a culture that values hard work, mental strength, and long-term success. I want readers to know that if you’re ready to put in the effort, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
At the end of the day, it’s not just about helping someone hit a number on the scale—it’s about helping them realize they’re capable of more than they ever imagined. That’s what County Line Fitness is all about.
What’s next?
Looking ahead, I’m incredibly excited for what’s next for County Line Fitness. I’ve spent the last few years laying a strong foundation, and now I’m ready to build on that momentum in a bigger way. One of my main goals is to expand the reach of my business—whether that’s through opening a private training space, launching group training programs, or offering more virtual coaching for clients outside of my immediate area.
I’m also working on developing educational resources—like workout guides, nutrition support, and mindset tools—that clients can use both inside and outside of our sessions. My goal is to make fitness as accessible and sustainable as possible for real people with real lives.
What I’m most looking forward to is continuing to grow the County Line Fitness community. I want to keep connecting with people who are ready to take control of their health and show them that they’re capable of so much more than they think.
At the heart of it all, my mission stays the same: to help people feel stronger—physically, mentally, and emotionally. The future is about scaling that mission while never losing the personal touch that County Line Fitness was built on.
