Hidden Gems: Meet Iiizwerg of iiizwerg

Today we’d like to introduce you to Iiizwerg

Hi iiizwerg, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
It all started when I was younger and my brother and I would always play the game Zelda. That is when I began to fall in love with video games, although I was a huge outside person but when I got to game, it was a blast. After lots of years passed and I moved from Germany to the United States, my brother started playing more video games with our dad and well through my brother, I started playing those as well. I always have to laugh because my brother is the one who gets me playing the same video games as him because I’m always so curious.

At some point in 2014, my brother, my dad, and I were still playing video games which happened to be Call of Duty. During this time, clan wars existed which is when friend groups would compete against each other and move up a ranking system. Since we were short on players, we decided to get my mom on the game as well. She wasn’t too familiar with the game at that moment but she quickly learned her way around and started to have a blast in the game. After that, we all started playing and have been playing video games together ever since.

In 2018, my brother started to do some live streaming on Twitch. In which I of course noticed and realized that he can create a community where people come in to hang out and play. Now that was definitely something that intrigued my interest and I quickly came to realize that this is how I can spread kindness to the world. One year later, I finally found the courage to start my live streaming journey, I had gotten all my stuff set up that I needed, which wasn’t the best quality but I didn’t mind. My family has always been supportive with what my brother and I did, if we found a new hobby they would be right behind us and support in any way they can. However, even though they supported me all the way, they weren’t exactly sure if that was my type of thing because I was extremely shy. I guess the thought of creating a community and spreading kindness gave me the exact courage that I needed to break out of my shyness shell and do exactly what I now love to do everyday.

My first months of live streaming consisted of very shy streams but the more I talked, the more I played, the more I hit that ‘GO LIVE” button, I became less and less shy in front of my camera. And after soon to be 6 years of streaming, I am proud to say that I have overcome my shyness, found my dream, and have the best community and family I could ever have because they supported me in any way they could.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It never is a smooth road, but that’s what makes your dreams come true right? Kind of cheesy but I believe that any stone on the road is there for a reason and that reason will lead you to the better path. That reason is what makes you choose a different choice next time to not have it happen again. Some struggles I went through were to say “no” more often, especially when I just don’t want to. While another was to set boundaries to my self and other people and following through with them everytime. I’d like to say that I did master through those struggles even though it took quite some time in the world. I sometimes still find myself stopping before making a decision to make sure I follow through those boundaries.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My business is called iiizwerg. With the help of my family and those that work for me, I created it from the ground up. I seek to spread positivity, kindness, and joy to others and I do that through my live streams on Twitch. I hang out with my community to play video games together or laugh about jokes and we invite anyone that is new to the stream. I mainly focus on creating funny and embarrassing content in hope to make someone’s day better by putting a giggle on their face.

Being kind and spreading positivity is what I’m known for. However, it’s not just that. In one of my main games, Destiny 2, are lots of challenging activities, and I run as many of these activities with people to help get them through it and get their goodies at the end. I also host Charity Events, specifically one named Gamers Outreach who help make a difference in the world to bring video games into hospitals for children who are sick.

I believe that what sets me apart from others is my enormous amount of kindness that I spread. And sure I may not be the only one, but I know how toxic the world can be but it has always been my mission to create a space where everyone can get away from that toxicity and have a great time.

I am honored to have the community that I have. I believe together we can spread even more good energy around the world. I may have created my community but they are what makes it so special and amazing.

If you ever need a space to get away form a bad day, toxic people, or any other reason, take a stop in my live streams or watch any of my short or long form videos because I assure you, they will put a smile on your face. I get told all the time that when anyone hangs out in my streams, they’ve forgotten all about their terrible day.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I tend to be a bit of a workaholic so I use an app to organize my hours into work, live streaming, filming, and time off. I love my job but I have been trying to use some time for myself and read a book or be creative in painting and drawing that I love so much. There are for sure apps and podcasts that will help me with my current job, especially when it comes to the newest video game news.
