Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica De La Cruz.
Hi Jessica, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started working for a pharmaceutical company in 2001, soon after high school. Fast forward twenty years, my career over this time spanned across various pharma and biotech companies in California, all within Quality Assurance roles. It feels good knowing the work I did for so many years positively affected a patient’s quality of life.
It has always been a dream of mine to become a published author, and so, in 2019 I self-published my first book, “Death Before My Eyes” (available for purchase on Amazon). As far back as I can remember, I have had a love for literature, and thankfully, I was able to reach this goal of becoming a published author all the while working full time and taking care of my family. I am hoping to have a second book written and published within the next couple of years.
After some time and some soul searching, I decided to make a change and become my own boss. I went back to school and attained my Real Estate license and am now branching out in this field and helping my clients find their dream homes! I have purchased three houses myself and know first-hand how good it feels to be able to reach this milestone and to be proud about being a homeowner. The excitement in my client’s faces is priceless, and I am so honored to be a part of that process for them.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The challenges I faced throughout my career have been minor, and I am blessed to be able to say that. I know that God has been by my side every step of the way, and I am thankful for his goodness always. In no way has the road been easy, but with hard work, persistence, dedication, and very early mornings, I have been able to reach my personal and professional goals in life thus far. And I am not done!!
As you know, we’re big fans of Real Estate. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
Being in the real estate business has been rewarding for me in so many ways. I have been able to meet so many great people and have helped my clients to find the home of their dreams. I genuinely care about them and ensure to put their interests ahead of mine always. I take pride in the work I do to ensure my clients are well taken care of, informed, and finally 100% happy with their purchase. I also work with great people, which makes this experience not only fulfilling but also fun.
