Hidden Gems: Meet Lindsey Sparacino of Manu Hu Healing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsey Sparacino.

Hi Lindsey, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
For years, I have poured myself into teaching and supporting children with special needs. I love helping my students grow. Along the way, I hit my own wall of stress burnout and health challenges. Those challenges pushed me to dive deep into practices I did as a child: yoga, meditation, and energy work. This helped me find balance, healing, and a deeper sense of purpose. Today, I run Manu Hu Healing, a wellness and education brand named after the Hawaiian hummingbird spirit, a symbol of resilience, joy, and transformation. I offer yoga, Reiki, Women’s Retreats, Special Needs Life Coaching, and Children’s Books and Writing. Manu Hu Healing is more than a business; it’s a movement rooted in the belief that every child deserves a voice and that healing ripples outward through families, schools, and communities. It represents my own transformation and the many forms of healing I now share with others, through words, movement, coaching, and Sacred spaces of connection.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I came from an abusive home. I was in group homes, and CPS was a regular guest at our place. I tried multiple times to end my life as a teen. I have been in abusive relationships, and my mom died suddenly when I was 20, by drowning in Hawaii. My sister was addicted to heroin for 20 years. I have been a single mom raising my daughter on my own, I put myself through college, and have worked three jobs since I was 18. About 10 years ago, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, and that’s when I really made the shift towards health and wellness. I was lucky to have had the exposure to many therapies since the time I was three, and I was able to fully find what works for me.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Manu Hu Healing is a heart-centered wellness and education practice rooted in transformation, balance, and community. What began as my personal healing journey has grown into a multi-faceted brand that brings together yoga, Reiki, retreats, coaching, writing, and advocacy. We specialize in creating safe, welcoming spaces where people can heal and grow, and connect. Whether it’s on the mat for yoga, through private Reiki sessions, or surrounded by sisterhood and ceremony at our Sacred Soul Sisters Retreats.
Manu Hu Healing isn’t just about wellness for one-it’s about wellness for all. Manu Hu Healing has become a movement of inclusion, transformation, and empowerment.
