Hi Lynne, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was laid off from a previous job and was looking for something different. The opportunity came up to purchase this business, BE Polished. After a little research we took the plunge.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This has not been a smmoth road to be honest. We did not do our due diligence in looking for the challenges a small business would bring. Then within 2. years changes in CA laws hindered us then the pandemic hit us hard so yes, challenges aplenty. But that being said we do enjoy our business especially our staff and clients!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are a nail salon with a wide range of nail services that also offers waxing and eyelash and eyebrow services. I am not a nail tech but own and manage the salon. I have a wonderful staff of professionals that work with me. Our salon offers a fume free environment as well as a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. We also offer children’s services and parties, and bridal or any special occasion parties. Our pedicures are done in copper bowls which are more hygienic and good for you. Along with excellent work I am proud of our exceptional customer service.

Presently I am listening to a meditation series that starts my day more relaxed.
