Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandi Terra
Hi Brandi, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’m a Nurse Practitioner, here in San Diego. I began my nursing career five years before transitioning to the role of an NP, where I specialized in critical care and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
After completing my NP residency at UC San Diego, I worked as an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner for nearly four years as well as grew my first Med spa in 2020 while on maternity leave and a terrifying cancer diagnosis.
My battle with cancer has inspired me to educate and advocate for wellness in combination with aesthetics, encouraging me to expand on my own and start my own med-spa and wellness center/functional medicine space.
I truly feel blessed to have had the opportunity to expand my knowledge and practice in aesthetics over the last four years and am excited to continue to grow and expand in San Diego as an aesthetics/functional medicine center advocating for our community in their health and well being.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been a challenging year, navigating not only my cancer diagnosis but also some unexpected hurdles in my professional life. Between facing health struggles and dealing with business partnerships and deals that didn’t go as planned, it’s been a time of reflection, growth, and perseverance. Despite the setbacks, I’m grateful for the lessons learned and the resilience that’s emerged from these experiences.
