Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Murphy.
Hi Brianna, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Working and earning my own money gave me purpose. I attempted a traditional college and over time, discovered it wasn’t for me. I started thinking what would truly make me happy and give me a bigger passion, that’s when I started researching cosmetology school. Now, to say I had some doubters is an understatement. I created a vision for myself. I wanted to excel in my craft and create a brand where clients felt safe, loved, and beautified. I didn’t know how that vision would come to fruition, but I knew with hard work, one day, I would get there. My vision may have taken a few years, however in the end the journey is exactly how it was meant to be.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
To say the path I’ve led has been champagne and roses would be such a lie! I was working in a financial institution and decided to put my dreams and goals aside to excel with that because I thought financially that would give me the stability I needed. Needless to say, it dulled my sparkle and started to burn out the fire. I had to do what was truly going to make me happy. I was doing research about how to get back to doing hair and came across Sola Salon Suites. I left my tour and knew this was meant to be. That tour changed the game and lit my fire again. I realized at that moment something led me to it. It was my time and opportunity to take. I didn’t know how I was going to make it happen, but my decision was already made.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a full-service salon suite. We specialize in hair extensions and custom color and continue to elevate our craft and skill to bring the best version of ourselves to our clients. What sets us apart is how we came to be and the journey to find a team that builds each other up and motivates each other. How I met my suitemate was fate, to be honest, and I am so blessed we have cultivated this amazing energy in our space. I had no idea what my brand would become, but I knew it was already set for me. I have so many cheerleaders in my corner, constantly driving and encouraging me along the way. Our clients inspire us and sparks our passion to exude and achieve the beauty they desire.
