Today we’d like to introduce you to Daisy Haro.
Hi Daisy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I will never forget December 9th, 2019. The day that I decided to pursue my career as a Permanent Makeup Artist. During that time, I was on maternity leave, and I was not ready to return back to working crazy retail hours, especially after having a newborn. I remember talking to my husband about other options besides going back to work. I remember clearly telling my husband that I wanted to do something where I had control of my schedule. Maybe starting my own business, and he said, okay; well, what would you like to do? I said, something in the beauty industry, I like makeup so maybe a Permanent Makeup Artist. He said, okay, well look into it and get more information. So I quickly started researching Permanent Makeup Training near Riverside. I came across a few academy’s and did some research a few days after I was enrolled in my first permanent makeup training, a Microblading course.
Unfortunately, three months later, the COVID-19 pandemic happened and everything shut down. I was so sad at the fact that my new business had to pause, but in a way, it didn’t stop me. I told myself this is the perfect time to focus more on my business! I began practicing at home and taking several online training to help me perfect my role as a Permanent Makeup Artist. I also took an Ombré Powder brow training. I continued to practice and focused on building my business profile on social media. I wanted my audience to see how passionate I was as an artist, even if it was just me practicing and improving my work. I also created an appointment wait-list so that by the time everything was back to normal, I had a few clients to reach out to and schedule appointments. By March of 2021, I opened my own permanent makeup studio and established DH Beauty Lounge, LLC. As of today, I now Offer more permanent makeup services, I have five permanent Makeup certificates. I have over 300 clients, and I am now offering Permanent Makeup training. I am beyond thankful, grateful, and humble for this opportunity. I will forever be grateful with my clients and students for believing in me. I absolutely love what I do. Every day is an opportunity to learn and grow. I have more goals to accomplish, but I am so thankful that I didn’t give up when times were rough. I continue to put in work, and I am focused on dedicating my time to my career, my goals, but most importantly, I am staying consistent in wanting to be the best Makeup Artist I could be.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Covid-19 was definitely a struggle for me as a small business owner. Especially because I started my business a couple of month before everything happened. I was so excited in my new journey as a Permanent Makeup Artist and having to slow things down was definitely a challenge.

DH beauty Lounge, LLC offers Permanent Makeup services and now offers Permanent Makeup training. My specialty is Ombré Powder Brows. What sets me apart is providing an outstanding customer service experience. Making the permanent makeup experience as comfortable as possible.

The quality provided to my clients. Making my clients feel good about themselves. Enhancing their beauty and making them feel more confident, always doing what’s right for my clients.
