Hi Dave, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
In the back of an Uber in Nashville Tennessee, our founder Hayden Ralph, struck up a conversation with his uber driver and began discussing social media advertising and how it works for small businesses. After a few months of working with Barry, the uber driver, our company Jump Forward Media was born. We have now grown into a mid size agency that employs around 20 people and works with a few of the biggest brands in the aesthetics space. We have gotten to this point by committing ourselves and our team to honesty, integrity, transparency, and hard work.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not. Starting a company is a rollercoaster. It is one of the most exciting, terrifying, rewarding, and time consuming things you can do. In our industry it is make it or break it. We have to perform month over month to make 3-5x our clients money and if we do not hit those bench marks often times our clients will leave. The marketing space is unbelievably competitive as is the aesthetics space so in order to grow an ad agency in this space you have to sacrifice almost all of your time for your clients so you can build trust with them and create long term relationships that will allow you to grow your business. Beyond that, the technology is always changing. You have to keep your thumb on the new trends and styles of marketing to stay relevant. Whoever is out in front of the tech and changing trends is usually the one who is doing the best and innovating the most.
As you know, we’re big fans of Jump Forward Media. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We are an ad agency who specializes in Medspa marketing. We predominantly focus on FB / IG paid advertising but we also do Google ads, Next door ads, build websites and SEO. We are one of the leading companies in the space because of the results we produce for our clients. We are most proud of our own personal growth as a company and being able to employ around 20 people and hundreds of medspas. Our biggest achievement has been scaling the VIO Medspa group from their first location to the 50+ they have now.
