Hi Isabel, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have been married for 30 years to my wonderful husband Oscar and have four adult children. We moved to San Diego three years ago from Orange County. I have a child development background and worked with kids for over 26 years! When moving to San Diego, I felt I had so much time on my hands. My kids are all older and have work and college so I needed to find a hobby to keep myself busy! I make charcuterie Creations for family get togethers all the time for fun! I decided to start making them and posting on Facebook and community pages!
I never thought it would turn into this! I am blessed to say I fill orders almost everyday! One of my favorite things is to make large customized boards or grazing tables! The bigger the better!
I love when my clients come and pick up and just LOVE what I have created for them! Love to be able to make their vision come alive!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It actually has! I have the support of my family and that makes things so much better!! The only struggle is there is only one “ME” and sometimes I cannot accommodate so many orders in one day as I want to make sure everyone gets exactly what they want and I make them as beautiful as I can!
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a home-based charcuterie creator! I love making people’s vision come alive. I usually have a small conversation with them and try and figure out what it is that they want and try to come up with what they have in mind! I want to make sure they get an elevated charcuterie experience each time they order. I try and be as unique and creative with each board, box, cup or graze table I can!
I offer the freshest curated meats, artisan cheeses along with the best veggies, fruits, nuts and sweets!
What makes my brand stand out is that I take pride in my customization to my client’s tastes and preferences!
Who else deserves credit in your story?
My biggest supporters and cheerleaders are my husband Oscar and my four children, Billy, Ryan, Tatiana and Adriana! If it wasn’t for their help and support, I wouldn’t be here now! I also want to thank my small business POD, they also keep me motivated to keep promoting myself!
