Hi Joye, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I love food, always have! And I love sharing that love of food with my family and friends. One of my favorite ways to enjoy food is by grazing on a variety of foods, and presentation plays a key role in creating an inviting experience.
In 2020, I discovered cheese and charcuterie boards and started crafting them for friends. Looking to refine my skills, I actively asked for feedback to enhance both the flavors and presentation from a client’s perspective. Encouraged by their support, I transformed my passion into a business, focusing on developing unique flavor profiles and food styling for my boards and tables.

I continue to learn and grow with each board and graze table I design, always striving to create visually stunning and delicious experiences around love, connection, and celebration that bring people together.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Balancing my passion with the practical aspects of running a business is my biggest challenge. From securing resources to navigating the complexities of operations, the journey requires adaptability and resilience. Wearing multiple hats means shifting between creative work, client relations, logistics, and finances, which can feel overwhelming.
The key is finding systems that work for you—whether it’s leveraging technology, outsourcing certain tasks, or building a strong support network.

My passion lies in creating memorable experiences through food. I offer custom cheese and charcuterie boards and elegant grazing tables, meticulously crafted to elevate your special moments around Love, Connection, and Celebration. Each creation features only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients, designed to add an extra touch of delight to your shared moments. I balance flavors, textures, and aesthetics to create a show stopping experience for you and your guests. I take every board or graze table order personally and I start planning and designing as soon as you order. It’s truly my pleasure to share my love of food with you through these unique offerings.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Having the good fortune of having friends who champion my work, whether by spreading the word, engaging with my content, or directly supporting my business, makes all the difference. Their advocacy not only helps build momentum but also reinforces the confidence and motivation needed to keep growing. Equally important is surrounding yourself with fellow entrepreneurs who understand the journey—people you can exchange ideas with, learn from, and lean on during challenges. Entrepreneurship can feel isolating at times, but with the right community, it becomes a collaborative and enriching experience.

Instead of dwelling on bad luck, I focus on preparation, adaptability, and continuous learning—qualities that set successful entrepreneurs apart. Staying humble, prepared, and open to growth ensures that setbacks become stepping stones rather than roadblocks. This perspective turns challenges into valuable lessons, helping to refine strategies and decision-making over time. It’s the kind of resilience that strengthens not just a business but also a personal growth mindset.
