Today we’d like to introduce you to Kassidy Clothier
Hi Kassidy , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started photography back in high school as editor in chief of the yearbook. I would borrow the yearbooks camera over the weekend and take photos of my friends for fun. I finally got my own camera for Christmas and didn’t have to borrow the camera from my yearbook class. I would take pictures of everyone and everything. Shortly after high school I had my first paid session and was ecstatic. I continued to do photography part time while I pursued my degree in Dental Hygiene. After marrying my husband in 2020 I found my love for wedding photography. I got to the point where I was having to turn work down because I couldn’t successfully work two full time jobs. I decided to make the jump and quit my job to go full time into wedding photography in February 2024. It was the best decision I’ve ever made and I’m so blessed to do what I love for a living. My husband also works with me part time and has recently started doing videography. I still can’t believe this is my life. I love absolutely every second of it and wake up feeling so excited for work!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not always been a smooth road. I’ve faced challenges along the way by being completely self taught. The challenges have made me stronger and a better photographer.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My husband Cody deserves so much credit. He’s been here throughout my entire journey and I wouldn’t be where I am without him. He’s supported me 100% along the way and has even learned videography to help grow my business. He’s my biggest cheerleader and I would have never imagined I’d be here without him by my side.
