Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristen Evans
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
From a very young age, I felt certain there was more to be seen in this world than meets the eye. So I would say I’ve always been intuitive, but it wasn’t until 2019 that I really began to lean into meditation and working towards finding my own alignment. Meditation really helped me to explore this whole other facet of myself. I realized I was much bigger than the box I had placed myself in. Through repetitive meditation I began tapping into my gifts and practicing clairvoyance, shamanic journeying, reiki, and many healing techniques.
Without really knowing what it would look like, I decided it was time to make a career change and leave my corporate job that no longer felt in alignment. A few months later I knew what direction I was heading in and was opening up my spiritual healing business, The Starseed Journey! Once I made the leap, the path forward began falling into place. I always knew I wanted to help others in some way from a young age and I found a way to do that through these healing modalities that had helped me so much.
Currently I offer virtual and in person San Diego based sessions for clients. All of my offerings are geared towards bringing clarity and healing for the client’s own individual greatest good.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Far from it! I faced a lot of hardship right at the beginning of starting my business. I discovered two different mentors of mine did not have the best intentions for myself or others they we’re holding space for. It was a very hard reality to face when they had inspired me so much to begin my business and get into the spiritual wellness world.
But now I know it was all a very powerful lesson and up leveling for me. Instead of allowing myself to continue being spiritually and energetically attacked, I began to build boundaries and energetic protection for myself. It empowered me to reclaim my sovereignty and begin hosting my own wellness events in the San Diego community that had good intentions for those in attendance. I started sharing my own stories and words, rather than allowing them to be stolen by my previous mentors. I feel grateful now to have gone through such tumultuous times and have come out the other end stronger and more confident in myself.
And of course, I’ve faced the struggle that all small business owners have faced of teaching themselves how to run a business. There are always going to be ups and downs, but I love riding the wave and learning more about myself through the process!

Through my business, The Starseed Journey, I offer: Akashic Record Readings, Reiki healings, Cosmic Oracle Healings, Spiritual Tune-ups, courses, and events. I see clients all around the world through my virtual offerings or in person here in San Diego!
I take pride in ensuring I’m holding a safe space for my clients. Spiritual protection is not something a lot of healers/practitioners in this space are educated in or aware of unfortunately which can be detrimental to their clients. Because of what I experienced when I started my business, I know how to ensure I’m practicing energetic hygiene, showing up to hold space cleansed, and protecting both the space and my clients. I teach spiritual protection courses so other practitioners and clients can learn how to cleanse themselves and ensure the spaces they are in are safe!
Shamanic journeying and astral travel is another of my strong suits. From when I started tuning into my gifts I began seeing clear visuals of myself outside of my body in different spaces and places. It wasn’t until I started researching more that I realized what I was doing was astral traveling and shamanic journeying. I leaned into this style as it felt most natural to me and allows me to hold deep space for my clients. It’s definitely not a style of healing/reading that most practitioners know and is unique to my practice and what I bring forth for my clients. These modalities are part of what I teach in my intuition courses so others can learn these deeply healing and powerful practices.
I also specialize in activated breathwork, cacao ceremonies, energetic healing, and more! I host monthly events for the San Diego community to come heal, shed, shift, align, and gain clarity utilizing these modalities. My favorite events are my seasonal gatherings on the Equinoxes and Solstices to help us get aligned for the season ahead and practice gratitude for the season past.

As a cosmic oracle and shamanic healer, I aim to help those looking to begin or continue their expansion journey. I open a sacred, safe space for my clients to help them expand into who they are truly meant to be. It’s my purpose to help awaken and expand both myself and those around me.
It truly is my passion to help light up others – offering support through channeling, healing, and gathering. As a healer, I celebrate each of our differences, knowing we each have our own path through this life and our souls know the way. I aspire to bring more unity through our differences as a collective.
