Leslie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Growing up in Hawaii, I was inspired by my dad, who ran his own plumbing business. That planted the seed: owning your own business was freedom. Since then, I’ve worn many hats—running a brick-and-mortar retail shop in Waikiki, exporting tropical florals, managing online businesses, and leading corporate hotel renovation projects as a Project Director.
But life had other plans. When my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and my dad’s health declined, they came to live with me and my husband. I was caring for two aging parents, homeschooling my daughter, holding down a full-time job, and trying to run a business. That season of life taught me the true meaning of overwhelm—and the critical need for systems that simplify, support, and sustain us.
Today, I help small business owners do exactly that—using AI to make life and business run smoother. I believe technology should feel like relief, not another job. My mission is to make AI approachable and effective for the rest of us.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not a smooth road—but one full of growth. Like many solopreneurs, I’ve played every role from CEO to janitor. Add caregiving for my parents and homeschooling into the mix, and I was living in what I now call “the chaos zone.”
There were days I felt like I was failing everywhere. I had to learn (and relearn) how to focus on what matters, use systems to simplify everything, and give myself grace. That’s the heart of what I offer now—real solutions for real people, built by someone who’s lived through the messy middle.

I run Smart Solutions 24-7, where I help overwhelmed solopreneurs implement AI-powered systems—especially chatbots—to automate their admin, client onboarding, and lead generation. My goal? Help you reclaim your time and reduce stress without having to become a tech expert.
