Today we’d like to introduce you to Taelor Peterson.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
After I finished my esthetician program and got my license, I started off doing lashes in a small area at my grandma’s house then moved my business into my apartment. I took as many clients as I could everyday so my business would grow as much as possible. I didn’t know what to name my lash company so I had changed it a couple of different times before I came up with my final name Honey Beauty House. I didn’t want to limit what services I could offer since I love everything about the beauty industry so I went with something that I could build off of. I knew that I was more than passionate about this business from the very beginning and I’m so happy I can now go to my own studio, practice my craft, learn new techniques and grow my business every single day.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Things haven’t always been smooth considering I’ve worked out of my house, there were times I had to really limit myself on clients and services I could offer. When I got pregnant with my daughter, it was peak Covid time and the morning sickness and quarantine life pushed me to have to take almost eight months off of working on my business which ultimately did set me back but I knew when I could start again, I would just use all of that as motivation to do even better than before.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am a licensed Esthetician and certified lash technician and I am the owner and creator of Honey Beauty House. Honey Beauty House is a beauty studio that I opened help to promote self-love and happiness. I pride myself in making sure that everyone that comes into my studio leaves feeling beautiful and with the results that they were looking for! I offer multiple different services at Honey Beauty House including: lash extensions, makeup, brow waxing and shaping and skincare.
What are your plans for the future?
By the end of this year, I plan on expanding my business and in the future, I will be looking to bring on other beauticians to offer even more services!
